So Succulent

Evening, apologies it's late in the day again.

I've had a very busy but enjoyable crafty day today. Firstly, with my Wednesday class ladies and then a little team training session where I was able to show some of the new products to some team members who weren't able to get to Amsterdam . Think they enjoyed playing with the new In Colours - and looking through a real life catalogue !

My project today uses the Oh So Succulent dies. I must admit I am disappointed these are retiring as I had big plans for them, but time ran away with me and so I literally just put a few together so I could show my class ladies......

Although it's a shame they are going, the good news is that they are reduced from £30 to just £18 ! And at the time of writing are still available so if you want them pop over to www.juliewade.stampinup.net but don't leave it too long as things are selling out fast !

While I was tidying away my craft things, a little baby robin came and sat on the outside of my window sill looking in.....

He was chirping away and just sat there until his parents came to feed him. I didn't like to take a photo while they were feeding him in case it disturbed them but the little one was more than happy to sit and pose for me, despite only being inches away ! The innocence of youth - or maybe he just wanted to check out what's in the new catalogue lol !

  1. Hi Julie, they did indeed like playing with the new product and looking at a 'real ' catalogue :-) - you were watching it very closely- as if we would have snuck it out lol
Hope you don't mind this query. What colours have you used for your succulents - card/inks. I keep coming to decision about colours I'm going to use and then changing my mind. Love your combination. I am very disappointed they are going, but already planned my class round them so have to go ahead :( xxx

  2. Hi Anne, I used Old Olive, Sweet Sugarplum and Pool Party, all inked with Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry and a bit of white. I hope that helps x
