Final day of Sale-a-bration !

Just a quick reminder that today is the last day to take advantage of the Sale-a-bration freebies and joining offers ! Where has the time gone ?

These two sets have definitely been the most popular amongst my customers - but that could have something to do with the fact that they were my personal favourites and we made lots of class projects with them !

If you would like to place a last minute order , or join my lovely team , you can do it at my online store www.juliewade.stampinup.net but don't leave it too late !

Pop back tomorrow, as I'm taking part in the Jems Monthly Blog Hop where we have some Easter projects to show you

Keep Sale-a-brating !

So very much

Just a little reminder that the Sale-a-bration and joining offers end on Friday so you only have a couple of days left to take advantage of these fantastic offers.

Today's card uses one of the freebie stamp sets , So very much. This is a large swirly thank you with a few smaller additions too. I have recently been making enquiries about changing my car and I made this to send to one lovely guy who has been particularly helpful. Obviously I needed a car image  so I used Guy Greetings with a few spots from Gorgeous Grunge.

This card literally took me about 2 minutes to make but I'm hoping it will be appreciated by the recipient. One of my class ladies has also used this thank you as part of a set of wedding stationery and it looked stunning, so simple but very elegant.

Bella and Friends

Hi,

Hope you all had a good weekend, celebrating Mother's Day and enjoying the beautiful Spring sunshine - compensated for losing an hours sleep !

Today's card I made with the Bella and Friends stamp set and I just love that cute little doggy and she looks different depending on how you colour her.

I must confess Delightful Dijon has never been one of my favourite colours but just recently I have warmed to it - as its about to retire lol !
Remember if you have any inkpads for the retiring 2015-2017 In Colours you will want to get the ink refills asap before they are on the official retiring list. Stock up on card stock in these colours too because I can guarantee I will be asked for some when they've all gone !
Pop over to www.juliewade.stampinup.net and get your order in quick.

Which of the retiring colours will you miss most ?

Bloomin' Love

Hello all,

Today we have a special occasion as my inlaws are celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary - 50 years, that's some achievement! We are 30 years behind them and that still feels like a lifetime lol !

For the card I decided to go down the 'less is more' route and just used white on white with some simple gold embossing. I must confess to not getting the heat gun out very often but I do enjoy it and still love the reaction from a new crafter when they get that wow moment.

And before this afternoon's class I quickly dashed to get some flowers so I could put together this bouquet....

Although the 'leftovers' don't make such pretty viewing...

Better get tidying up before my class and then the start of a few family celebrations this evening

Sitting here ......

Thank crunchie it's Friday !! I've had a lovely but very busy week and a big thank you to all the ladies that have attended my classes this week.

This is one of the cards we made this week .....

This caused quite a giggle midweek. On Wednesdays I do a class in the morning and then repeat the same class to another lovely bunch of ladies in the afternoon. Quite often I hear myself saying the same thing and it often feels like Groundhog Day !
Anyway during the afternoon session I was explaining about the cushions when we realised we couldn't find the round cushion stamp on the table. We searched everywhere because I knew it had been there in the morning. We checked the floor, still no joy so I ended up texting my morning ladies to see if anyone had accidentally picked it up. Still no sign of it so we improvised , and then later in the class one of the ladies stood up - and we found she had been sitting on it , block and all !!!
The fact that it was a cushion and the stamp set is Sitting Here made us all smile.

Enjoy the weekend

Evening all, I'm only just scraping in for a Wednesday post today, but at least I've made it !

I've had classes all day today and then an order to input tonight and by the time I realised I hadn't blogged it was too dark for photos.

Sooo, I've had a trawl through my photos and tried to find something that I haven't already  shown you  ( I hope ) but I apologise in advance if I have posted this before. In fact, if I have any eagle eyed readers who can tell me if I've shown you this previously then please get in touch and I may send you a little prize.

Anyway, I've come up with this thank you card.......

Oh good, you don't recognise it and I've got away with it !

As its a thank you card, I would like to 'virtually' send it to you all for dropping by to see what I've been up to and to those that leave me lovely comments.

I promise I will try to be more organised for next time

Stylized Birthday

Hello, hope you all enjoyed the Jems Blog Hop on Saturday and the rest of your weekend. After all the rain the last few days it's a lovely, sunny Spring day today - lets just hope it lasts !

Over on my Facebook page ( the link is on the right) I showed a picture of my messy desk, which prompted a lot of conversation. I tried to excuse the state of it as I am busy and when I stopped and worked it out, I am doing 21 classes this month so I AM busy lol ! Still need to tidy it though.

This morning was the first of 5 classes this week and here are some of my lovely ladies at our local tea room Vintage Teas @ No3......

Some made a trifold card and some decided to make a Happy Easter card.

The card I'm going to show you today is actually from last weeks class and is a pocket card...

And when it's opened....

The inside is stamped with the lovely Stylized Birthday sentiment stamp. This is a single stamp and brilliant value at just £9 as it makes an ideal focal point and you can just add a few different embellishments for a range of different looks. You can order it at my online store www.juliewade.stampinup.net or contact me for more info.

Now , I really must go and tidy my desk as I have more cards to make !

March Jems Blog Hop

Morning all, and welcome to the Jems Blog Hop, hope you've enjoyed the projects so far !

This month the theme is a Colour Challenge - Sweet Sugarplum, Bermuda Bay and Mint Macaron. - the colours of the stunning new glimmer paper , available as a Sale-a-bration freebie until the end of the month.
Regular readers will have seen my earlier post using Lovely as a Tree and simple sponging that I CASED from the very talented Michelle Last.
I really enjoyed making those and knew I wanted to try other colour combinations , so this seemed a perfect opportunity to try it.....

And then I got thinking about which other stamps I'd got that would work with the same technique , so I made a Build a Birdcage version....

And a Seaside Shore version....

And a butterfly one....

I really enjoy sponging but normally its around the edges of my project but I just love how these little scenes emerge from the white space- thank you again Michelle for the original idea !

Hope you like my little makes - why not give it a try, it's very addictive !

Enjoy the rest of the Hop and we really appreciate the comments that are left

Phew, another busy week over !

I've had 4 classes this week and next week I've got 5 , so I've got lots of designing to do over the weekend.
In my last post I mentioned I'd finished work to spend time 'doing more of what makes me happy' and I have had a couple of enquiries about joining Stampin' Up so I just thought I'd give you a few more details.

The starter kit costs £99 but the great thing is you get to choose any products you like to the value of £130 !!! AND if you do it during Sale-a-bration ( ie before the end of March) you can choose 2 extra stamp sets for free - so choose expensive ones to get your money's worth lol !!!

So how do you join ? Easy, pop over to my online store www.juliewade.stampinup.net and press the Join the Fun button ! You will need to input your personal details and the products you would like but please ask if you need any help.

I have already welcomed a couple of lovely ladies to my team during Sale-a-bration and am happy to chat further , with no obligation, if anyone wants any further info. Or I have a document of FAQ s I could email you if you prefer. My email address is mrsjuliewade@sky.com, look forward to hearing from you.

Today's card is another Beautiful You one that has been made in all my classes this week and was very well received

Pretty isn't it ? Back to my normal style lol. This time I have used the paper piecing technique instead of colouring the dress. Colours are Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe, Sweet Sugarplum and Pink Pirouette.

Don't forget to pop back tomorrow this week as I'm taking part in the Jems Monthly Blog Hop and we have some lovely things to show you.

Beautiful You Frame

Happy 1st March, which means we are now into the final month of Sale-a-bration ! In some ways it seems to have flown by but there again it seems absolutely ages ago since Christmas.

Anyway, this month is the last opportunity for you to earn yourself a freebie with an order of £45 or above so if you fancy a treat from your wish list,  then now's the time to do it !

Today I have used Beautiful You again but this time it's not a card but a simple home decor piece. The gorgeous frame was one of the gifts I received when I left work last year and I just stamped a simple scene to go inside it....

The detail on the frame is almost a perfect match for the lacy stamp from Delicate Details, which is one of the Sale-a-bration freebie items.

The image is then just coloured with the Early Espresso watercolour pencil and the blender pen - Simples !
I love the sentiment too and this picture now reminds me how lucky I am to have the opportunity to spend more time running classes and enjoying Stampin' Up!
