Tomorrow is my wedding anniversary so I thought I'd show you the cute little card I made.

Don't worry I'm safe to post on here, Hubby doesn't read - at least he says he doesn't !

Colours are Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe and that lovely swirly font is from Timeless Love.

I just love that little bear from Bear Hugs but there is a super cute new bear stamp set that I can't wait to order when the new catalogue goes live next week. Have you written your wish list yet ? I have re written mine several times but the bear will definitely be staying on it !

Hope Hubby likes his card and I might find out whether he does read my ramblings or not x

Sun, sea, sand and Stampin Up !

Happy weekend !

Hope you've all managed to enjoy some of the gorgeous weather we've had this week. I've had some holiday from work and enjoyed an impromptu day out to the seaside.
It was really hot and I sat on the beach reading my new catalogue and then it had to be seaside fish and chips before we headed home. They always taste so much nicer at the seaside !

I do have something crafty to show you, another of my Telford samples. This project started life as packaging for a stationery gift I received. I painted the box and then proceeded to 'stampyupify ' it !
That word gets used quite a lot in my house !

Colours are Night of Navy and Mint Macaron and I love the paper pieced flowers. Nice to transform something that otherwise would have been thrown away x

Work of Art

Happy Sunday to you all !

Did you enjoy the Jem's blog hop yesterday ? I spent a lovely time in the garden late afternoon visiting all the blogs until the thunder started and I had to dash inside before the heavens opened.
It's been gorgeous here today though - shame I spent most of it inside Merry Hill shopping centre as I'd promised my girls a girly shopping day. Well they did the shopping and I did the paying lol !

Today's project is another one I made for the Telford displays. It's not a card this time, I stamped on a canvas to showcase the In Colour Watermelon Wonder...

Hubby and I visited quite a few places before we found the 'right' paintbrush. He would point one out and I would say but I don't want black bristles, a red handle , or that's too heavy or large ! I knew what I wanted !

This was probably one of my favourite projects and I love using the different sized circle punches to make spiralled flowers.
You will see a lot of Timeless Textures stamping too - that's definitely one of my ' go to ' sets at the moment.

Hope you like.

Goodbye to an old favourite...

Hello and welcome to the Jems Blog Hop !

Hope you've got chance to hop around and visit everyone as the Jems are a very talented bunch and I'm sure you will find plenty of inspiration !

As soon as I knew the theme was retiring products I decided I wanted to use one of my favourites - Everything Eleanor. I love all things pretty and have used this set loads over the last couple of years.

Today's colour combination is Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron, Pool Party and Mossy Meadow. I have also used a few current stamps too, this one features the very versatile Number of Years and Timeless Textures .....

And these use the sentiments from the gorgeous Watercolour Wishes kit.....

At the time of writing Eleanor was still available in clear so go grab it quick and fingers crossed there's still some left !
Hope you've enjoyed my projects and are popping over to see what the lovely Sarah has made

Or if you missed Kylie's fab project you can pop back here

Happy Hopping !

Back with a Bear Hug

Hope you've enjoyed the Bank Holiday , despite the rubbish weather. We gave in to temptation and popped to the travel agents to book something for later in the year - some sunshine to look forward to !

Thank you to everyone that read my first post ( and came back for more ) and to Amanda for the encouraging comment. From the statistics I can see I've had quite a few visitors, including from the States and Spain, so please don't be shy and say hello.

Today's card is another of my OnStage samples and is predominantly Cucumber Crush ( as per the brief ) with a little Soft Sky. The plant image is from a new Hostess set coming soon called Fabulous Flora.

And the Bear Hug as in the post title ? That's the name of the very useful set that the little fish come from, not just for bears !
