Lots of Happy

Brrr, morning all, a bit chilly isn't it ? Thankfully I haven't got to venture far today so will be nice and cosy in my craft room.
I do have classes planned for later in the week though so I'm hoping we don't get too much of the white stuff !
Today I want to show you the cards from the Lots of Happy kit. This is an absolutely gorgeous kit and perfect for those like me that love a bit of therapeutic colouring. The kit includes some watercolour pencils and I've also used a blender pen .....

Pretty aren't they ? And some close ups of my colouring...

See, I didn't even go over the lines lol !

Keep warm

Another Partying Panda

Happy Monday to you !

Hope you had a nice weekend ? I spent some time colouring, which I find really relaxing and also sorting out some of my scrap pieces of card . I have a few plastic folders that I keep my scraps in in colour themes but I always seem to put more pieces I than I take out ! Anyway, I was very ruthless and the folders are considerably condensed now .... for a while lol !

Today's card is yet another Party Panda and this one is definitely partying courtesy of a little bottle cut out from the free Sale-A-Bration paper pack

A Polaroid style card too which I was inspired to make after receiving this lovely card from Uma...

You can check out Uma's other fab creations over at her blog www.asenseofuma.blogspot.co.uk.
Enjoy having a browse

Amazing you

Happy Monday to you !
I'm a little bit later posting today because I've been to my Card and a Cuppa session at the local tea room.
Last month I made these treat bags swaps for my team training and to hold a business card holder I bought for my team....

And one of my ladies asked if we could make one. So I made a little card for the inside and this is what we did this morning ....

These are some of my ladies' makes and little Izzy from Scotland  was visiting her Grandma during the Half Term holiday . How did I know she would prefer a mermaid on hers lol ?

Cute isn't it ?

Petal Palette

Hello everyone , I hope you enjoyed the Jems Blog Hop on Saturday ? There were some beautiful projects weren't there ? It's amazing how we all work to the same theme but the ideas are so very different, very inspiring.

Today's card uses some of the Petal Palette products and is a set I really like....

Love that embossing folder too, which is one of two in the set and is great fun to sponge. I definitely need to do more with this little bird and I also need to use some of the gorgeous black and white paper, instead of just looking at it !

Back on Wednesday with another card for you.

Jems February Blog Hop

Morning all and welcome to the Jems Blog Hop !

I hope you've enjoyed all the fantastic projects you've seen so far ? You will know by now that this month's theme is ' Celebrating Love' and as its February, Valentines immediately come to mind but I decided to do something different.
I know some of my SU friends are interested in which colour combination I've chosen , and a few would probably guess I wouldn't go with the obvious red but I decided to surprise them and go predominantly white , very unusual for me I know ! But today it is about the textures and not the colours.

I decided to make a wedding card and used the Hometown Greetings dies which are still available and definitely not just for Christmas ! The sentiment is from the Picture Perfect Birthday set but I knew as soon as I saw it I could use it for a contemporary wedding card.....

It looks very pretty in real life but was very hard to photograph ! I hope you can see the shine from the subtle Champagne foil card and the silver embossing. The line of hearts has been cut out from a die in the Mini Treat Bag set and placed on top of a piece of Champagne foil and I have used the 'waste' hearts to add a sprinkle of embossed style confetti.....

And speaking of confetti , I decided to use one of the silver gable  boxes ( £7.25 for 12 ) to make a pretty little container to carry the confetti to the nuptials.

The celebrate is one of the new dies that are a level 2 SAB freebie and will be available in the new annual catalogue too - but why wait til June to buy them when you could earn them for free now !
I love the delicate white organza ribbon too , and have previously coloured it with Stampin' Blends to match other projects, so versatile !

Hope you like my wedding projects - even if they are not as colourful as usual ! And now I just need a wedding to go to ...do you think I will get a royal invite lol ?

I am last in the Blog Hop today but if you've missed any or started  part way through please head over to see what the lovely Lynn has to show you

Amazing You

Morning all, hope you are keeping warm ! Here it has just gone from sleet to sunshine in the space of half an hour, and I know which one I prefer !

Today's card continues with the same colour combination but features one of the SAB freebies, Amazing You. I've used this set loads already, but then I do love my flowers 🙂

The flowers were stamped in Versamark, heat embossed with silver embossing powder and then sponged with Sweet Sugarplum and Elegant Eggplant ink. Hope you can see the shine ....

Pop back on Saturday when I will be taking part in the Jems Monthly Blog Hop and the theme is Celebrating Love ....better get my thinking cap on !
